Bucephalandra Red
Bucephalandra Red showcases a stunning array of leaf colors ranging from deep, rich reds to shimmering bronzes and regal purples. The leaves exhibit an iridescent, almost metallic sheen that catches the light beautifully. However, the exact hue that develops is influenced by several environmental factors. Adjusting elements like lighting intensity, carbon dioxide supplementation, and nutrient levels allows aquarium hobbyists to bring out the plant's full chromatic potential and customize its coloration to their preferences.
Unlike virtually every online store all of my Bucephalandra is grown submerged (unless noted). This makes the transition to your tank easier. This particular variant of Bucephalandra Red has been growing submerged in my tank since 2020.
I originally bought these emersed and have been careful in keeping each variant in it's own tank. I am not an expert at distinguishing variants of buce as a lot are very similar but I can guarantee that at least I'm passing along what was sold to me with the correct name.
Pictures are my own but not exact product being sold unless noted. I try to show you typical examples of the product you would be purchasing. If you have any questions please contact me.
