Cryptocoryne 'Green Gecko' is a striking and hardy aquarium plant known for its lush, vibrant green leaves and eye-catching texture. A cultivar of the popular Cryptocoryne species, 'Green Gecko' features slightly wavy, spear-shaped foliage with a glossy surface, creating a beautiful contrast against darker substrates or red-toned plants. Under the right conditions, it develops a subtle gecko-like pattern on its leaves, giving the plant its unique name.

Perfect for midground placement, this plant thrives in low to medium light and adapts well to a wide range of water parameters, making it a great choice for both beginner and experienced aquascapers. Like most crypts, it benefits from a nutrient-rich substrate and a stable environment. Though slow-growing, once established, 'Green Gecko' forms a dense, lush clump that adds depth and natural beauty to any aquascape.

    Pests & Algae

I do have snails in my tank.I do my best to pick off what I see. Duckweed have invaded a few tanks but most plants will be free of duckweed. Older leaves may have a bit of algae but I typically clean up all plants before shipping.
