Bucephalandra Brownie Purple is a popular aquatic plant belonging to the family Araceae, native to Borneo. It is well-suited for both beginner and experienced aquarists due to its low maintenance requirements.
Unlike virtually every online store all of my Buce Brownie Purple is grown submerged (unless noted). This makes the transition to your tank easier. This particular variant has been growing submerged in my tank since 2020.
I originally bought these emersed and have been careful in keeping each variant in it's own tank. I am not an expert at distinguishing variants of buce as a lot are very similar but I can guarantee that at least I'm passing along what was sold to me with the correct name.
